Q: Why can't I call you for an offer?
A: The main reason is this: WE WANT TO PAY YOU THE MOST IN THE INDUSTRY for your vehicle. If we are answering calls all day with "Lookie Loos" trying to see what their car is worth, or calling to see if we sell used parts, we have to pay more people to answer our phones. We ONLY want to speak with people that are genuinely interested in selling their car to us and we can't make you an offer without all of the important information that is on our exclusive web valuation form. Once we have reviewed your vehicle information and have made you a preliminary offer, we will call you to discuss the final offer and make arrangements to purchase your vehicle.
Q: How does your service offer more than other services?
A: The main reason is that we only buy the cars we want to and we don't hire salespeople to answer our phones. If we buy 100 cars and 30 of them are "losers" (meaning we resell them at a loss, which a LOT of car buying companies have to due to high volume purchasing) that means we have to put a "cushion" in the offer we give you. If your car is REALLY worth $800, other companies have to offer you $500 to have a "buffer" to cover their losses on other cars. By being a low volume car buying service, we can spend more time getting ALL of the information needed to make you the BEST offer possible.
Q: How fast can I get paid for my car?
A: Once we agree on a price, we will arrange a transport vehicle (fancy name for a tow truck, huh?) to come to your home or office, verify the vehicle condition is as stated, and gather the keys and title in exchange for payment for your car. Typically, the whole process from the time you fill out a form to you being paid for your vehicle is 12-72 hours.
Q: I still owe money on the car, can I sell it to you?
A: It depends. If you owe more than the vehicle is worth (AKA you are upside down) we can't help you out. If you owe LESS than it's worth, we can payoff your loan, get the title sent to us and pay you the difference (AKA EQUITY!) in the vehicle. This process can take several days to complete, but it is doable.
Q: I can't find my title...what should I do?
A: If you own the vehicle outright and you misplaced the title, you will need to contact your local DMV to find out how to get a duplicate title. We can only make payment to the person's name printed on the front of the title. Our DMV INFO pages can help you with this.
